MINT-Konzept des Colegio Humboldt
Ebene: Unser Bildungsauftrag als MINT-Schule
Das Colegio Humboldt hat das Ziel, den Schülerinnen und Schülern eine Ausbildung anzubieten, die ihnen im Studium und im späteren Berufsleben die besten Möglichkeiten eröffnet. Bei der heutigen wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung bedeutet das insbesondere einen Fokus auf die naturwissenschaftlichen Fächer wie Mathematik, Physik, Chemie, Biologie und Informatik sowie ein umfangreiches Zusatzangebot im Bereich Technik.
Sowohl für die deutsche wie auch für die brasilianische Wirtschaft ist ein Mangel an naturwissenschaftlich-technisch qualifizierten Fachkräften ein strukturelles Problem. Das Arbeitsangebot in diesem Bereich ist also groß und die Tendenz ist weiter steigend.
Die Initiative MINT (Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Technik) will zu einer positiven Einstellung von jungen Menschen, Eltern, Lehrkräften sowie einer breiten Öffentlichkeit im Hinblick auf diese Fächer beitragen. Die notwendige Stärkung von MINT-Fähigkeiten betrifft alle Bildungsbereiche: von der frühkindlichen Bildung über die allgemeinbildende Schule zur beruflichen Weiterbildung.
